Nestled in the parted, terraced vineyards, the Quinta da Romaneira produces fantastic, highly awarded wines. The stony soils and the ludicrous slopes make the wines and port wines so characteristic. Recently a new chapter has begun in the long and illustrious history of the winery, which is part of the "Douro Revolution". The discovery that the old grape varieties so typical of port wine, such as Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca or Tinta Barocca, are also wonderfully suited for high quality, great table wines.
