Miles Mossop Wines is a family run business with none other than Miles Mossop himself as a winemaker and winegrower.
Miles Mossop, who is also the winemaker of the renowned Tokara Winery, had his breakthrough in 2004 when he introduced Max 2004 and Saskia 2004 as debut wines to the wine world under his own label. The wines are named after Miles and Samantha Mossop's three children, and a third wine, Kika 2009, was added to the portfolio in 2009. Miles Mossop is now known as one of South Africa's top winemakers and his top-class wines are regularly awarded the most prestigious prizes and recognitions.
Miles Mossop's handcrafted wines are of great finesse and elegance, with aspects of strength and fruit concentration, and possess great structure, balance and sensational character of origin.
