Christie's Port Wine Producer & Shipper Ldª is a traditional family business in Portugal's famous Douro region, which is already in its second generation of successful port wine producers. Over the decades, experience and expertise in the field have built up a considerable legacy. The immense passion for the Douro region and the knowledge accumulated over the years, produces exceptional wines of first-class quality year after year. On the Quinta Dona Mafalda estate, which covers approximately 7 hectares, Christie's Wines produces 30,000 litres of wine annually from the red grape varieties Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca and Souzão grown there. One-third of the estate is planted with old vines. Today, Christie's Wines is proud to take over and maintain the historic port wine house, Butler Nephew & Co., founded in 1829. Christie's Wines offers a highly endowed and extensive portfolio, including Butler Nephew & Co. 20 Years Old Port and Butler Nephew & Co. 40 Years Old Port as well as Vintage Ports and Late Bottled Vintages (LBV). Christie's premium Douro wines, marketed under the Castelinho brand and meeting the same quality standards as the house's Port wines, are created from tradition and innovation with absolute dedication and commitment to the Douro region.
