Boland Cellar - Weingut in Paarl, Südafrika
Located in the picturesque Paarl Valley, South Africa, Boland Cellar has been successfully pioneering the cooperative venture for more than 75 years by bringing together dynamic winemakers and talented oenologists from various wine-growing regions of the Coastal Region. Since its founding and humble beginnings in 1941, Boland Cellar has grown into a highly successful business both regionally and internationally, and is the proud recipient of many prestigious awards. Boland's wines are inspired by nature - just as each vine thrives in harmony with the earth, the sun and the Cape winds to produce grapes of inimitable character and high quality, each wine is created and produced in collaboration with local winemakers and pooled talent. The result is internationally acclaimed and award-winning wines of the highest quality. The land of all cooperating winegrowers covers an area of approximately 1900 hectares across the Cape Coastal region of South Africa - a region that can boast a variety of different terroirs and climates. From Paarl and Malmesbury to Durbanville and the Berg River Valley, the different variations in climate and terroir create regional expressions of the different grape varieties. This allows the dynamic and passionate team of oenologists to produce wines of high quality and distinctive character.
