Excellent wines from Decanter

Decanter World Wine Awards is a premium British wine magazine that is eagerly awaited monthly by wine lovers and wine connoisseurs. The magazine is owned by IPC media. Michael Broadbent, who has been involved in the development of Decanter magazine since its inception in 1975, developed Decanter's rating scale, which for many years was based on a five-star system. However, this traditional system was replaced in July 2012 by a more modern composite of one 20-point and one 100-point rating system.

95-100 points All Gold Medal winners are tasted again separately and the winners wear the "Platinum Medal" and the "Best Value Platinum" medal, for a price under 15 pounds.
