Ataraxia Wines - Exklusives Weingut in Südafrikas Walker Bay

Ataraxia was founded in 2004 when Kevin and Hanli Grant, together with a couple of friends, purchased 50 hectares of prime land. The landscape where Ataraxia is located, called Skyfields, is unique because it's located in the highest part of the Hemel-en-Aarde area in Walker Bay.

Ataraxia's vineyards are grown on one of the most spectacular terroirs that South Africa has to offer. It is a place where wines of incredible finesse, balance and depth are created that proudly compete in the international arena.

After careful study, winemaker Kevin Grant soon realised that the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grape varieties are the most wonderful expression of the unique characteristics of this terroir, and their success proves them right. For example, the Ataraxia Chardonnay has won numerous prizes and awards.
